1. In this module you will continue to learn the number system which was first introduced in Module 6, Subways and Trains.
2. The greatest difference between the English and Japanese number systems is the use of man "ten thousand" in Japanese. This single word is combined with the numbers 1 through 9 to form the words for "ten thousand" through "ninety thousand." Where we say "twenty thousand" in English, the Japanese say "two ten thousands."
